Hi I’m Lauren and I started working in Denver Public Schools in 2014. I am a Colorado native. I went to the University of Colorado at Boulder and received my degree in Spanish Language and Literature. Go Buffs! I am passionate about working with multilingual students and families. Language is a privilege and a gift and I love empowering students to share their talent with our school, community, and world. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy hiking, doing yoga, and spending time with my friends, family, and my dog named Murphy! The newest addition to my family is my daughter, Blair, who was born March 8th 2024.
