I have had the incredible privilege of being an elementary school teacher since 2009! Over the years, I’ve had the joy of teaching in three different states and have worked with students in grades Kindergarten through third grade. My journey has also included roles as a small group MLL teacher and, most recently, as a reading intervention teacher.
Growing up in a small town in Ohio, I attended college in Indiana and spent a year in Kansas before making Colorado my home in 2013. Teaching is truly my greatest passion, and it fills my heart with immeasurable purpose. I strive for every child I work with to feel loved and to find joy in their learning experiences. I believe that all children are remarkable and resilient, and it is an absolute honor to serve our community as an educator.
When I’m not in the classroom, you can find me chasing after my wonderful daughter or my playful dog, Gryffey. In my spare moments, I enjoy crocheting and diving into a good book. I’m also working hard to learn Spanish and appreciate any opportunity to practice!
