Erica has been in the field of education for 13 years and this is her 10th year as a Special Education teacher at McMeen. Her favorite part about teaching is fostering students’ innate curiosity and witnessing their “ah ha” moments. Erica enjoys a good chocolate chip cookie, morning runs, spending time with her fiancé and her German Shepherd, Loki, whom she has affectionately dubbed beanie bear.
