We are using the DPS App to communicate with our families this year. (We are no longer using ClassDojo or Reachwell.) Make sure you download the DPS app and enable notifications to receive important updates from McMeen leadership and your child's teacher.

Then, follow these steps to set up the app:

  1. Tap “Rooms,” then “Continue to sign in.”

  2. Type in your guardian email address or phone number.

    • If you typed in your email address, tap “Log in with code.” You will receive an email with the code. Type this code in when prompted.

    • If you typed in your phone number, you will automatically receive a code via text. Type this code in when prompted.

  3. You will be prompted to select your preferred communication language.

  4. You will be automatically signed into your students’ Rooms. You can now see communications from your child's teacher!

  5. Enable notifications from the DPS app so you don't miss important announcements.

    • Tap "More" in the bottom right corner of the DPS app.

    • Tap the settings icon (it looks like a gear) in the top right corner.

    • Tap "Notification preferences."

    • Tap "Groups."

    • Scroll down and tap "McMeen Elementary."

    • Tap the blue "Save" button on the bottom of the screen.
