I am a Denver native and proudly attended College View Elementary, Kaiser Elementary, Morey Middle School and graduated from John F. Kennedy High School. I received my English Degree from the University of Northern Colorado. I taught in Hawai’i for several years before starting my career with Denver Public Schools. Over the years, I have taught ECE through 8th grade.
I live in Lakewood with my husband Jerry. We have three grown boys, and four grandsons. We enjoy, traveling, paddle boarding, hiking, camping, biking, and I am an Advanced Open water Scuba diver working toward my Rescue Diver certification (post COVID).
I am so excited to be part of the McMeen family and look forward to getting to know all of you.
