My name is James Howard and this is my first year in the McMeen community. It will be my ninth year of full time teaching and I have spent sixteen years in education also working with after school programs and coaching. I am originally from Indiana and went to school at Kansas University (Rock Chalk!). After I graduated, I spent eight years working in China as a basketball coach and PE teacher. Since returning to the states I have focused on out of school programs, returned to teaching, and have started a Master’s program in Human Development at CU Denver. I am looking forward to a great year and am so excited to share my passion for PE with the McMeen community!
