Super Citizen in Visual Arts September 2016
The Art Studio at McMeen is privileged to have Victoria Savage as part of its community of producing artists. Her current work, inspired by Kenhide Wiley and Shepard Fairey, explores how to change the world to be a better place. She chose to create a self-portrait print expressing her personal belief around the theme of power. In her artist statement she explains the importance of girls having power. This demonstrates social intelligence and curiosity by connecting her world and her beliefs through her artwork. We are so proud of you and we are curious to see what you continue to produce in the McMeen Art Studio.
